Martian Creation Myth

The Originals

It was 2030. That is when the originals came here. They were the people who created us. They come from a planet called, Earth. It was a very good planet but it became old and could not sustain life on anymore. So the originals were sent out to mars and all the originals on Earth died. The original planet. They were the ones who created us. There was 2 of them. They created everything we have too this day. Once they came over to mars. they used their magic heads to create us. Then One of them made all the resources that are needed to sustain life. Phobos handled all the food that we needed and the water that we needed. Deimos handled us, the martians, Deimos created the first martians and our king's ancestors. Our king's ancestors were the first martians ever created on mars, Deimos then created other martians. The King’s were tasked by Deimos to have children and colonize mars. They had children. Those are our kings today. Whenever something bad would happen Phobos and Deimos would make the problem go away but a little bit of them would die each time they did it. Since we are martian, this happened a lot. We make mistakes and do bad things. The originals kept helping us but eventually they could not help us anymore. They turned into complete stone and rose up into space. They became our moons. Now they watch over us in our everyday life. Our past is a very confusing one but No matter what happens in the future, Phobos and Deimos are here for us.

Mars's Bill Of Rights

Hey guys so today I am going to think about Mars, and in the future if we were to have Mars be a country, what it's Bill Of Rights would be.

1. Freedom of Speech, Assembly, Press, Petition, and Religion.

I think that this is a very important in any Bill of Rights because it represents everyone, everyone can practice their own religion and speek freely.

2. No search and seizure without a warrant

I think this also a very important peice in the Bill of Rights because the government, if any, can not take your stuff and search your property before getting a warrant.

3. Everyone has the right to space suit insurance.

Space suits will be a big thing on mars and will be needed, incase one breaks everyone needs access to them.

4. Everyone has the right to a jury in a civil case

This is important because it is true, people should have a jury in civil cases and mars will have its own law system

5. Everyone has the right to a speedy and public trial

This is important because everyone who is on trial should have a speedy trial and a public one that is on record.

6. The right to communicate with earth

We will find a way to communicate with earth, and when we do we should all have the right to talk to our family and friends from earth.

7. No excessive bail, or unfair cruelty

This is very important because bail cannot be set at 5 million dollars for a very small crime

8. Rights of the people

I think this is fair because the rights that the people create in their sectors matter.

9. State rights

The states also have these rights.

10. The right to oxygen for everyone

This is very important because that is how we can live.

Mars

Just so you guys know this is a project for our English class, we are not actually applying to Mars.

The world is a weird and mysterious place, most of it is undiscovered. We are at our expansion point of our land. We need to expand to other worlds. I believe that Mars is the first step in our journey out of this solar system. We need to colonize Mars and make it our own so we can expand to other planets. I come from Earth which is a great planet and is a very good place to live. My parents and grandparents will most likely not go to Mars but I want to be the first generation to go to Mars.

My world is a place that dreaming is encouraged and it is a good thing. I currently live in a good situation, a good school, a good family, a good neighborhood, and overall a good life. I was taught to shoot for the stars. This saying was always meant as a metaphor but now I believe that we can actually shoot for the stars. Our generation is different than the ones before us, we are more innovative, creative, inspirational, and effective. We can make it Mars and we will. 

Independence

Hey guys, 


When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for me to dissolve the bands which have connected me with homework, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that I should declare the causes which impel me to the separation. I want to declare independence from homework because I think that it does not make sense. I think that some homework is useful because if it is something like reading it makes sense because it is not something we did in class and it is needed but we do not have time to do it in class. Homework like something that is just a review of what we did in the class does not make sense to me. Why should we go to school for 8 hours and then after it we have homework that is the same thing we did in at school. It just does not make much sense to me.

I think that Junior is a leader because he is the first one to leave the rez, and who knows maybe later some other kids will leave the rez. His sister leaves the rez and gets married because of him. She moves to montana.

I think that Rowdy is a leader because he is sort of mean and scary but people look up to him because he fights for what he thinks is right. He doesn't follow anyone, he makes his own path

3 Tribes

Hey guys so today I am going to talk about three "tribes" that I associate with. One of the three tribes that I associate are dogs. I have two dogs, both of them are golden retrievers although one of them is an english cream golden retriever so it is white. The second tribe that I associate is sports. I play many different sports and like them, I mainly just play basketball and volleyball but I like most sports. The third tribe that I associate with is music. I play the saxophone and am in the school band, I also love listening to music in my free time. Overall I have a couple more tribes that I associate with but those are some of them.
